Chapter 1
"Hello,Lavastar."I told our leader as i dipped my head."Good evening,Snowpaw.Shouldn't you be out hunting with TigerStripe?"I looked at

Lavastar."No,Lavastar,Tigerstripe told me i had the day off." "Oh.Ok then." "Can i still go hunting though?" "If it is ok with TigerStripe,Snowpaw." "Yes,sir."I

ran off and bumped into Mosspelt."Watch it!"The angry elder hissed at me."I am deeply sorry,Mosspelt." "Be careful!"I ran back to TigerStripe."Hey

there,Snowpaw!" "Hey,TigerStripe.I was just wondering if i could go hunting...." "Are you sure?This is your day off!" "I am sure,TigerStripe." "Well then go

on!"He smiled and got back to talking with LizardStripe."How is your apprentice?"Lizardstripe said.I leaned in to listen."Pretty good.So good i gave her the day

off today,but she still wants to keep at it." "Oh!She must be a hard worker!"I left the two to continue with their chatting.Then,i saw a mouse.Quickly i got in a

hunting crouch,hunted,and killed with a swift bite to the neck.Before i got back i caught a shrew,mouse,two voles,and a thrush.I sighed and came back.Just

before i entered i heard a soft purr behind me and jumped.I whirled around and saw a small kit pounce on me.With sheathed claws i pushed it off and looked to

see who it was.Cinderkit."I Got you!!!!" "Yea,you did!"I laughed and smiled."Do you know where TigerStripe is??"Then i heard a low voice."You realy can't

smell?"I jumped again."I have been watching you this whole time."TigerStripe smiles."Snowpaw,hey!Do you need help carrying all this prey?"Shadowpaw

smiles and picks up the small shrew.Then whitethroat came up.She looked surprised."Its summer,WhiteThroat.I am SOPPOSED to catch this much!" "Ok

ok....take the shrew and one vole to the elders-they haven't had a decent meal since last summer!"Whitethroat laughed and added."I think it is time for you and

Shadowpaw to become warriors.Soon." "Yea.The apprentice den is very crouded now." "Yep with five apprentices and only six warriors.......and Cinderkit being

five moons old,some of ya'll have to move out,you know!"I laughed at Whitethroat's remark and looked at the expecting Petalnose."I think Lizardstripe should

talk to lavastar about hosting a cerimony for a few apprentices soon."I watched as Shadowpaw,Whitethroat,and Tigerstripe concluded their chat and i walked

away.I had to go tell Lavastar what i had caught."Hey,Lavastar?May i come in?"I stood at the edge of the leader's den."Enter!!" "Erm...I was just coming in to

tell you what i caught.A shrew,mouse,two voles,and a thrush.I know this might sound like i am telling you how to lead the clan but i think...........that a few

apprentices should become warriors." "This is a good idea,Snowpaw.Which ones do you have in mind??" "Well....the eldest one is me.The second eldest is

Shadowpaw and the third is Oakpaw.I think me and Shadowpaw should become warriors,and Oakpaw train for half a moon before he goes." "Very well.I will

host the cerimony right now." "Now??!?!" "Of course!" "Ok....i will go tell Shadowpaw!"Before He could object,I ran off to tell Shadowpaw."Shadowpaw!I just

convinced Lavastar to let us become warriors!" "No way!" "Yes,Way!I hope my name isn't Snowfeather!" "And I hope mine isn't Shadowheart!"Me and

Shadowpaw laughed."Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneith the highrock for a clan meeting!"Lavastar yowled as all the clan came

up."As you know we have a very large amount of apprentices in AshClan.So I,Lavastar,leader of AshClan,call apon my warrior ancestors to look down on these

two apprentices.They have trained hard to understand the ways of your warrior code,and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn."He looked hard

down at me and Shadowpaw,narrowing his eyes."Shadowpaw,Snowpaw,do you promise to uphold the warrior code,even if it costs you your lives??"I felt my

stomatch hurt,but i didn't complain.I thought of all the prey I had caught and all the battles i had faught."I do." Shadowpaw smiled."I do,also."Shadowpaw's fur

bristed with exitment as he proclaimed it to the clan."Then,by the powers of Starclan i give you your warrior names: Shadowpaw,from this moment on you will

be known as Shadowpelt.Starclan honors you for your courage and bravery."Lavastar stepped forward and and rested her muzzle on top of Shadowpelt's

bowed head.Shadowpelt looked like he would burst with exitment any minute now, but calmly went to join the other warriors."Snowpaw,from this moment on

you will be known as Snowtail.Starclan honors you for your courage and bravery." Lavstar did the same thing he did with me.My mustles trembled so much and

slipped away to join Shadowpelt.Yowls came from the air."Snowtail! Shadowpelt! Snowtail! Shadowpelt!"I looked around my clan,watching their faces.I saw

respect and kindness."Well done,Snowtail!!"
"Awsome work,Shadowpelt!"
"That was awsome,young Snowtail!"
"Well done,Snowtail and Shadowpelt!"
All of the mews came from them the warriors.I felt so proud of myself,as i looked at Lavstar coming down the highrock.He nodded at me."Well

done,Snowtail."Then I heard a hiss coming from the croud.I swirled around,detirmended to see what it was.It was Ivyfur.I heard him whisper just enough so i

could hear to Sunleg."That kit doesn't deserve to be a warrior!"He looked strait at me when he said it.I had never had a great relashionship with Ivyfur.Sunleg

looked at me,pain in her eyes,and didn't answer.After that they all went to their dens, needing some sleep.I thought of Wildclan.At the last gathering of the two

clans where peace had been made,Wildclan made sure they thought that AshClan was weak.The only reason they thought this was because Lavastar had not

came because he was sick-but he was okay.I sat outside for my vigil.Then i saw two pure red eyes looking at me.I tried to sound the alarm,but then i heard a

yowl.
Wildclan was attacking!
CHAPTER 2
!I jumped on Nightfur while Shadowpelt sounded the alarm.Cats came rushing out dens.I slashed and fought against the Wildclan Deputy with power.He jumped

ontop of me and tried to do the death bite.He bit down on my neck. Then I remembered.I fell limp,waiting for him to let go.Then deadfoot got up,feeling pride

and acomplishment.I sprang onto him and gave him a front paw blow.Quickly he raked my belly as I yowled for help.I felt three more WildClan cats attacking.I

yowled louder and louder,but noone came.I saw that we were outnumbered-they wanted out territory.
I yowled and pit into Deadfoot's leg,sending him yowling away.I hissed,daring any cat to come close.I looked over at the nusery where only Shadowheart

guarded it.He seemed to be breaking down.he fell to the ground.I remembered the cat that was fighting Shadowpelt.I pounced.Then.when i ripped at his chest

the creamy fur in my claws."Mistfur....?"I looked at the familiar cat,who had been exiled of Ashclan,came back,then left,never to be seen again.Untill then."I am

known as MistyStar now,leader of Mistyclan." "Mistyclan....?" "You will hear about it tomorrow,at the gathering.You may not though."MistyStar whispered lowly

so no other cat could hear."Put up a good fight,kid.I Don't wanna hurt you...but Mistyclan will test my loyalty now.I will make you bleed abit,and then you go run

off torwards the nursery,k?" I nodded.He yowled and bit into my neck,biting and scratching.I jumped up,then pushed him down,and ran back torwards the

nursery.I looked around."Cinderkit...oh,my Cinderkit...."Dawnflower was weeping around the nursery.I looked just behind me.Mistystar had set me up!A brown

pelted warrior of Mistyclan held Cinderkit in his mouth,running away."Cinderkit."I murmured.I saw a few cats crouding around the cat who had cinderkit in his

mouth,I could never take on this many warriors.But i had to try!I thought.I ran up to the brown pelted cat who reeked of crowfood and housepet.I

pounced,pushing cinderkit out of his grasp."Run and yowl,Cinderkit!Run and yowl!"I pushed her off.She scrambled and yowled,making sure the whole clan could

hear her.All five cats fought me,while Mistystar watched from afar.I saw mistystar walk into Lavastar's den,then all the fighting cats made it a blur.Fur flew as a

yowled trying to catch my breath.Nothing could help me.'StarClan help me!' I yowled inside my head.Then i felt a red-stained pelt hit me.I couldn't tell who it

was.I bit into the brown pelted warrior's neck while the red-stained pelt held the others back."Now tell me."I sneered."Who are you?!Why do you reek of

housepet?!"I kept a firm grip on him."I am Froglegs of Mistyclan.This is our smell." Froglegs sneered at me,his pelt also bloodstained,he looked so helpless.His

sneer turned to plea."Don't hurt us..."Froglegs pointed to a white pelted warrior that didnt have to be held back,who just sat there with her tail tucked under

her paws."I am Wisestorm of MistyClan."She dipped her head in greeting.Then Froglegs pointed to red-stained pelt.In a sick voice he talked."Y-you know who i

am,Snowtail...."I shook my head.This one smelled of Ashclan.Then the Ashclan cat fell down,and i finnally knew who it was.
This cat was Shadowpelt of AshClan.
CHAPTER 3
"Shadowpelt!!!"I yowled."What should we do?"Froglegs sighs."if anyone else sees us here,we're dead."Mistystar sighed."Goodbye."Mistystar,Froglegs,and

Wisestorm left.They were the only enemies left.I saw Fireleg run up to me."Shadowpelt!What happened?" I barely could catch my breath as i looked at

Shadowpelt.His breath harsh."Snowtail....Snowtail..."I looked at Shadowpelt and put my nose to him."Fireleg,go get Mousefang.Yes,Shadowpelt?Oh

Shadowpelt...Don't leave me...!"Shadowpelt's muzzle met mine."I won't ever leave you forever...I will always be in your heart."He put his paw to my

chest."Mousefang!"Mousefang came with herbs,her eyes blazing with fury.Shadowpelt was Mousefang's only son.Even though medicene cats we not sopposed

to have kits,she fell in love with Crowfrost,a cat from another clan."Who did this to him?!?"She licked her son desperate to keep him alive."Mistystar." "Who?"I

quickly explained everything."Mistfur made a clan called mistyclan and gave himself nine lives and the name of Mistystar.Now he has a bunch of clans sopporting

him,with wildclan on his good side." "Mistfur will pay." "Mistystar,Mousefang." "I know what i said!"She dug her claws into the earth.Shadowpelt just barely

opened his eyes."He will live,thank starclan."Mousefang put her nose up to Shadowpelt and purred.Lavastar walked out of his den and his eyes blazed."How

many are in this 'Mistyclan' you mentioned??!" "Around 7." "Then it is settled then.When all our warriors are healed we fight for what they did." All of the cats

yowled in agreement."May i speak on the highrock,Lavastar?" "Yes you may,Snowtail." I dipped my head and jumped onto the highrock."I know all of

MistyClan's names."I began,gulping."The leader is Mistystar,foremerly Mistfur."I watched horrified gasps and mutters go through the group.I put my paw up to

tell them to be quiet."The deputy i belive is Froglegs,a small brown pelted tom.The next is Wisestorm,a white she-cat.All of theese cats are family of MistyStar or

friends.I heard him talk about his family and what they looked like.Ivypelt is his only kit,a she cat with blue eyes and a creamy brown pelt.Heatherstripe is his

mate,a she-cat with blue eyes and a dark brown pelt.Toconose,a black she-cat with dark blue eyes is mates with Onefur,a white tom.Toconose has one kit

named Hollykit,a tom with black stripes."I finished."Theese are all the cat in Mistyclan.If we work them out,we will beat them."I jumped down from the highrock

and looekd at Lavastar."So when should we take them on!?"
"Tomorrow morning!"
"Tomorrow,for sure!"
All the cats yowled in agreement for tomorrow morning."Time to get some shut-eye." I said,but lavastar stopped me."You have to stay on vigil untill

sunrise,remember?"I nodded,sighed,and went to my post.'Its gonna be a long night.' I thought.

"Morning,Snowtail."Shadowpelt said beside me when we were finnally allowed to speak."Time to go to fight." I said."Mousefang is even going." "Yea,This fight

is huge.Even the youngest apprentice,tallpaw,is coming." I watched tallpaw practice happily.We finnally entered MistyClan territory.We could hear them

talking."I hope poor little ShadowKIT is dead."Slashpelt laughed."It was fun beating him into shreads."Mistystar agreed.I gaped.'He said it was for self

defence!' I felt like itching to kill Mistystar and rip her to shreads.Finnally,Lavastar leaped and bit onto the cat's necks.I yowled and jumped on Mistystar.Then

mistystar whispered."Like last time?"She seemed totally unprepared-not close to what a real leader should feel."Not even close." I yowled and bit into her

neck.Mistystar muttered."I'm not gonna hurt you,we're friends!"Mistystar seemed shocked.Then i knew why she was acting like this.I yowled above all the

others and they all stopped to listen."You think you know Mistystar-I mean,Mistfur!" I sneered."My name is MistySTAR!" "No it isn't Mistfur.Face it,you never got

your nine lives did you?!?!" "Well..." "DID YOU?!?" "No!" "And this is why you launched the attack,to make you look stronger!" "Yes." "Then why did you lie to

MistyClan?" "Mistyclan knew,we needed to feel strong so we didn't tell AshClan." Toconose hissed in the croud,muttering to Hollykit.I looked at

Mistfur."Mistfur,you are not a leader.You all are rogues-not a clan!My clan will fight for what is right!Continue the fight!"I yowled,pushing on mistfur.I yowled

and bit into his neck.Mistfur ran,yowling."Run."I said.I looked at Shadowpelt,making sure he was ok.He was fighting Slashpelt,and losing."Hey, Shadowkit!Can't

catch me!"Slashpelt yowled and ran around Shadowpelt,pushing him off his feet.I ran over there,knocking Slashpelt down."But I can!"Me and Shadowpelt

yowled and jumped on him."Take care of her,Shadowpelt."I jumped up,looking around,the only cat left was Wisestorm,who had not fought at all."Why no

fighting,Wisestorm?"Fireleg hissed. "There is no reason to fight.No reason for bloodshed."Wisestorm said."Show me what you have,Wisestorm.I dare-"Fireleg

said,but Wisestorm pushed him off his paws.Fireleg yowled as wisestorm sat back down."Now you see why I never fight."Wisestorm hissed,looking

away."Fireleg!"I ran over to him."Do you want me to get Mousefang?"I looked at his leg,which was bent backwards.Fireleg just nodded as I

yowled."Mousefang!"I could see Mousefang coming."Yes?"Mousefang asked."Fireleg sprained his leg!"I told mousefang."Great starclan!Thanks for telling

me,Snowtail." I just nodded. Then finnally,I could see Hollykit mewing in the middle of the grass,with Toconose sitting with her."Please, don't hurt us.We

surender!"Toconose put her tail around her kit,with Onefur,her mate,behind her."Why should we trust you?"Sunleg asked."We didn't hurt any of your

warriors,I scratched up Oakpaw,but he is ok now,isn't he?"Toconose looked like she wasn't kidding."Can we please join AshClan?"Onefur asked."Please,the

only reason we joined Mistfur was because she promised us food and a place to stay."Onefur said."I think you could stay with us,untill you choose not

to."Lavastar said."Come on guys let's get back to the camp sight."
Chapter 4
"Toconose!What now?"I woke up with a start as heard a yowl.Toconose lived in the nursery,which was being cleaned,so Toconose was living in the warriors

den with Hollykit."Mousefang,Hollykit isn't breathing."I looked at the small kit."Toconose,Hollykit is dead."Mousefang murmured,looking at the small kit."Sleep

well in starclan,Hollykit."I said,burying my nose into it's fur."No!!!"Toconose yowled,pushing me away and putting her nose into it's fur."She will need a poppy

seed,Mousefang?"I asked Mousefang,looking at her."Yes,you can get that."I ran off,grabbing a poppy seed in my mouth and carrying it back to

Mousefang."Here you go,mousefang."I dropped the poppy seed beside Mousefang.I looked over torwards Shadowpelt,who was still sleeping.I pawed at

him."Shadowpelt!Come on, Shadowpelt!Wake up!"I looked at his eyes as they opened."Did you plan to sleep through the day?"I joked,purring."Not

exactly.Thanks,Snowtail."he dipped his head at Mousefang as he saw her."Do you want to go on patrol?"Came a voice behind me,and I jumped.I swirled

around.It was LizardStripe."Me,Tallpaw,and Sunleg are going.Do you guys want to come?"she said again."Sure.Do you want to,Shadowpelt?"I asked

him,looking at him."Sure."I could hear Whitethroat and Ivyfur in the distance talking."I heard Geminipaw is having her assasment today."Ivyfur told the

tom."Cool!Now wonder I can't find Fireleg."Whitethroat observed,taking a swift look around.I smiled.Finnally,Geminipaw being a warrior! When Geminipaw was

three moons old,he was rejected by her real mom and adopted by Fireleg and Lizardstripe,so when he turned six moons,he had to wait three more moons since

he hadn't been there that long.Now,he was 15 moons,and he was sopposed to have been a warrior at 12 moons."Come on,Snowtail!Why are you just standing

there??"Sunleg's voice jumped me out of my thought."Sorry."I muttered as I caught up wtih Shadowpelt."Hey shadowpelt.Guess what?"I asked

him."What?"He looked at me."Geminipaw is becoming a warrior soon,she was going to have her assasment today."I told him. "Oh,cool."Shadowpelt looked at

the ground."What's wrong,Shadowpelt?"I asked him."Nothing,why do you ask?"his eyes blazed."No reason."I told him."You guys,come look at this!"Oakpaw

said,looking at the scent markers."WildClan redid the scent markers!"Sunleg gasped."Look,it's quite fresh.They just went by,let's see if we can catch

them!"Lizardstripe said.Then I heard a yowl.It sounded like Geminipaw!I ran ahead,seeing Geminipaw and Fireleg fighting

Amberflight,Furstar,RunningBrook,CherryFeather,whitepaw,and Soultail.I jumped at whitepaw.He had just became an apprentice less than a moon ago.I bit

into his scruff,growling."Get off our territory!"Whitepaw said lowly,sounding like a frightened kit."No you get off ours!"I bit him in the neck,kicking his

stomatch.He hissed and unsheathed his claws,clawing at my face.I pushed his claws away,giving the back of his neck a good bite.I quickly threw him,making him

land on his back.He went running,his tail between his legs.I could see that wildclan were worn out."Get back to your side of the territory!"Shadowpelt

hissed,clawing at Amberflight."We redid the borders."Furstar hissed."You are to weak to keep to your own land,eh?"I hissed,looking at the Wildclan leader."Go

back home,now!"I growled."Or we will chase you!"Fireleg added,unsheathing his claws."Tail between your legs,Amberflight!"Geminipaw hissed,watching as

they walked away and surprisingly,Amberflight did as she was told."Hah!Getting sassed by an apprentice!Good work,Geminipaw!"Fireleg praised his

apprentice."Let's go tell Lavastar what you did.Is anyone badly hurt?"Fireleg added."No,we are all fine."Shadowpelt spoke.Sunleg looked at the clan."Good

job,guys.Let's change the borders back."Sunleg said,putting the border back where it was sopposed to be."Ok,lets go."Sunleg said,walking away.I looked away

from Sunleg,looking at my paws as I walked.

"Snowtail!Why are you in the new nursery?"I heard a hiss behind me,and I turned around.It was Shadowpelt."Um...I was seeing if it was ok,for the kits." I

mewed,looking at my paws."Let's go for a walk,Snowtail.Come on,we could hunt."I looked over,and I saw Geminishine,who had recieved his name yesterday,

after WildClan attacked."Uh,I don't know...."I looked at Shadowpelt.He had just walked off,away from me and Geminishine."Ok,I guess I could."I looked at

Geminishine.His eyes gleamed as we walked into the forest.Then,finnally,he saw a mouse.Carefully,he stalked it and then,finnally,he made our kill.After we

caught a ton of prey,GeminiShine looked at me."Let's see if WildClan are up to their old tricks."He said as a followed him to the border."They haven't scent

marked anything since we attacked!"I exclaimed.Just then,Geminishine ran across the wild clan border,stalking a rabbit."No!Geminishine,get back here!"I hissed

as the rabbit ran off."That rabbit could have fed all of the elders and all the apprentices!!"He hissed."It was on wildclan's territory."I told him."But the clan

comes first!"he hissed back. "But the warrior code says not to!"I started,but he soothed me."Don't worry,i'm sorry I doubted you.I didn't mean to."He gave my

ear a quick lick,and I froze, then ran off."Snowtail!I didn't mean-"Geminishine started,but I couldn't hear him.I ran into the nursery,panting.Then shadowpelt

walked in."What happened?" he said worriedly.I quickly explained what happened at Geminishine walked in."Geminishine!What are you doing

here?"Shadowpelt hissed."I came to tell-"he began."Well you better leave.Come on,Snowtail."He called for me as he swept out of the nursery.I trailed

behind."Do you wanna go find the prey me and geminishine caught?" I asked him."Sure."He said.We walked into the forest and finnally reached the burried

prey."Uh,Shadowpelt?"i looked at him."Yes?" he looked at me."How about you look for prey over there?"I told him."Sure." he swept away.Then,i could see

some cat infront of me."Hello,Snowtail."the voice said."What do you want,who are you?"I said,no fear in my voice.The body of the cat came in front of me.It

was Geminishine."Geminishine!Why are you here?"I looked at him wairily.Did LavaStar send him?"To unleash my rath."He circled me like I was a juicy peice of

freshkill."Why is that?"I could hear leaves crunching behind me-shadowpelt was watching."Because of course-you cause me to much harm."I looked at

him,bewildered."You-you can't hurt me!I-I have kits!"I blurted out.I gulped.Should I have said that?"Oh.Who's are they?"He sneered."Sh-shadowp-pelt's.I was

going to tell him today,mousebrain!"Geminishine looked at me bewildered and hissed."You-"then i could see Lavastar beside Shadowpelt,who was right beside

me.Had they heard?"Geminishine."Lavastar dipped his head."Go back to camp."He told Geminishine."Yes,sir."He ran off."Snowtail,Shadowpelt."Lavastar looked

at me sternly."Back to camp!"He hissed loudly.I bolted away with shadowpelt at my side.Shadow looked at me."Was what you told geminishine-true?"he said

lowly."Yes.That is why I have been in the nursery."I looked at my paws."Very well."he licked my ear.I smiled."Let's go to camp."I bolted to camp quickly.
CHAPTER 5
It had been 1 moon since I had told ShadowPelt that I was near kitting.I felt like I could start kitting any day now.Lavastar had only two lives left.I looked

around.I could see Shadowpelt beside me,who was watching and Rosekit and Wolfkit play.I could hear rustles in the bracken.I got up to see what it was.Then,I

saw all of WildClan walk in.Lavastar walked up to them."Greetings,Furstar.Why are you in my camp?"Lavastar looked at them coldly."We want our land

back."Furstar hissed."It was never yours!"Lizardstripe came up to her mortal enemy,her eyes blazing."No,Actully,when I was just a kit,Your clan claimed that

side of the river.We were all weak,so we gave it to you.But now,my clan wants it back.And we intend to get it."Furstar said bluntly."That was a long time

ago,Furstar.I understand you want our land for your clan,but we need it just as much as you do.How do you expect to hunt under the trees and not on the

moors?"Lavastar tried to explain to Furstar."We need that land.We will fight for it.WildClan,attack!"Furstar yowled and jumped onto me,pulling at my underbelly.

I hissed lowly and bit into his scruff.He kicked my belly again and again,making me cough up blood.I quickly retreated to the nursery,but he ran in after me.Then

he grabbed Rosekit and ran off."Rosekit!"Petalnose yowled suddenly.I could see Amberflight,not the small little warrior she was a few moons ago,but stronger

and more keen on her prize.She bit into Wolfkit's scruff,but this time I was ready.Me and Shadowpelt attacked her,making wolfkit fall from her jaws.With

rage,Petalnose attacked Amberflight,chasing her out of the nursery.I yowled in pain and coughed up some blood."Get...Mouse...fang..."I told shadowpelt.He

nodded quickly and raced away.I watched as wolfkit looked around pleaingly.Then,an apprentice walked in.It was whitepaw.Now,the apprentice had large

flanks with big eyes and small ears."Well."she said,her voice cold.She hissed and fell torwards me,biting at my neck and belly.Since i couldn't defend myself very

good,the damage happened quickly.I bled hard.I could see Mousefang at the door,trying to fight him hard.I yowled in pain as another spasim came,hissing.I

quickly had a kit,and then another.Only a few more spasims away I had a third kit,then a fourth.I hissed as another spasim came,and some other cats came into

the nursery.It was cherryfeather,whiskerfur,soultail,and Whitepaw.They all attacked me,and I fought for my life-and my kits.Quickly,they all retreated exept

her head bluntly."If you have anymore you could die."Just then,the last one,the sixth,came out,with a gush of blood."That's the last one,Snowtail,you'll be

ok."Shadowpelt had just entered,with blood on his heals.He spoke soothing words to me."Six healthy kits,not one of them hurt or injured."He purred,licking my

neck."They are beautiful in every way."Petalnose looked at me."Rosekit!Where is my rosekit?"she licked her remaining Wolfkit."Furstar took her,petalnose."I

told her."We will get her back."Shadowpelt promised."WildClan,retreat!"I could hear furstar yowl from inside the clearing.I looked outside and i could see no

rosekit.Petalnose bolted out of the clan,determined to tell Lavastar."WildClan!"she yowled."You have one of my kits,give her here!"Petalnose narrowed her

eyes at Furstar."GIVE HER BACK!"She yowled."I don't have a soul."he smirked."Where'd you put my rosekit!?"she hissed louder."Amberflight took her to

camp."Petalnose ran off,going away from the wildclan cats.In a couple of heartbeats,she was back."Left you a present in your clan."petalnose smirked,carrying

Rosekit back into the nursery."I got you,Rosekit."she licked her small kit.

A few days later,we had named the kits Bonnykit,Fallenkit,Mosskit,Brownkit,Stonekit,and Lionkit.Lionkit was the strongest-he opened his eyes the second day he

was born.Fallenkit was the weakest,she opened her eyes last,and she had a bad foot."Come on,Cinderpaw,tell us some fighting moves!"Stonekit yowled."I

can't,young StoneSTAR."she snorted and walked away."I am a leader!"he pounced on Mosskit playfully.I looked around for Bonnykit."Bonnykit!"I yowled as I

saw her exiting the medicine cat's den."Why did you go in there?"I looked at her sternly."Mousefang said I could watch her mix some herbs."Bonnykit

explained.I sighed."Go play with Brownkit and the others."I nudged her.Soon,Wolfkit and Rosekit would get their apprentice names.Lavastar walked into the

nursery."I want you to come to the gathering,Shadowpelt.You to,Snowtail."I dipped my head."Can I come to?"Lionkit asked."No,kits don't go to the

gatherings."I told her gently."But i am bigger than Rosekit and Wolfkit,and they are going to the next gathering!I am not going untill five more moons."he

sighed."Don't worry,young one.You will go,soon enough.But for now you can stay here-what if,when we leave,WildClan comes and attacks?What if noone was

here?They would destroy the camp!But since you are here,they won't."I licked Lionkit,and smiled."Ok."he ran over to Bonnykit."Let's play LionClan!"he told

the nursery,don't come out of camp!"I yowled to them."Yes,mom!"They all yowled as I walked with Lavastar.Soon,we came to the SkyRock,the clan gathering

place.I looked over at a small kit who was at the gathering."Starkit,how did you get here?"The small tom kit looked at Runningbrook."I wanted to come!"He

whimpered."Don't let anyone see you,you can't be here!"Amberflight told the kit.Lavastar jumped on the SkyRock."STARCLAN is listening to me when I make

these words clear.We are all here at the SkyRock,so lets gather around here!"Lavastar yowled loudly."Welcome.I will go first.WildClan is thriving.Runningbrook

had three kits,Starkit,Wildkit,and Hazelkit."Furstar began."Starkit!Wildkit!Hazelkit!Runningbrook!"Wildclan yowled triumpthly."Amberflight just moved into the

nursery."Furstar looked gratefully at his mate."Amberflight!Amberflight!Amberflight!"Wildclan yowled,more loud this time."We have also made a new

warrior.Whiteclaw is sitting in the ranks of WildClan today at this gathering.WildClan has become more independent,and we don't need AshClan."Furstar

snorted."WildClan!WildClan!WhiteClaw!WhiteClaw!"Wildclan cheered."AshClan is thriving better than ever.Snowtail had six kits!Sadly,Ivyfur died in the fight with

WildClan.So did Tigerstripe.Lizardstripe is ill."said Lavastar,purring."Snowtail!Ivyfur!Snowtail!Ivyfur!"the ashclan cats yowled."Gathering is stamped.How ever

we must plea.The gathering is over,so lets go to the camp."Lavastar recited the gathering saying just perfectly.We all left for our clans quickly.I dipped my head

at Furstar and went over the moors and soon,we went to the camp."Can't catch me!"Lionkit yowled."I have lioncatcher,deputy of MossClan!"Lionkit

yowled."That's Fallenpaw,the only apprentice in Mossclan.That's stonewatcher,the warrior of MossClan,and thats Bonnyfallingstar.She is the medicine cat,and I

musn't forget Brownlongshadow,a warrior of Mossclan and Mossstar,leader of Mossclan!"Lionkit yowled triumpthly."Greetings,Bonnyfallingstar."Shadowpelt

joked."And you to,BrownLITTLEshadow."Brownkit snorted at her warrior name.Just then,I saw Lizardstripe,who was being carried over to the middle of the

clan.She was dead."All cats call apon the clan rock to hear me!"Lavastar yowled loudly."Also,Lizardstripe died.I have found to appoint that Whitethroat will be

the deputy.Tonight,we share tongues with Lizardstripe.Also,Rosekit and Wolfkit have reached their sixth moon.Rosekit,do you promise to belive and resent the

warrior code and defend your clan,even if it costs you your life?"He looked at them sternly."I do."Rosekit looked at him."Then,from this moment untill you

recieve your warrior name,you will be called Rosepaw.Both me and starclan have given you as much as we can as a kit,now you will make your own desicions,to

guide yourself by the warrior code and make sure you do as I say."Lavastar turned to Whitethroat."Whitethroat,you have alot of expirience.You will pass on

what you know to Rosepaw."He looked at Wolfkit."Wolfkit,do you promise to belive and resent the warrior code and defend your clan,even if it costs you your

life?"He asked him."I do."Wolfkit looked at lavastar."Then ,from this moment untill you recieve your warrior name,you will be called Wolfpaw.Both me and

starclan have given you as much as we can as a kit,now you will make your own desicions,to guide yourself by the warrior code and make sure you do as I

say."Then Lavastar looked over at Sunleg."Sunleg,you have as much expirience as any other warrior.You will train Wolfpaw to the balance of the warrior code."

Lavastar got off of the Rock and went into his den.Shadowpelt yowled loudly."No!"He pushed his nose into Lizardstripe."Liz..."he cried out her nickname."This is

a mistake!I never even got to say goodbye..."Shadowpelt yowled and put his nose into his sister's fur.Fireleg yowled also and did the same."Lizardstripe,you

can't leave me...and Geminishine..."Fireleg whimpered."I will help carry Lizardstripe to burry her."Shadowpelt said."I will,to."Fireleg said also.
